How can I overlay a JPG image on my 3Dgraph?

I would like to know how to overlay a JPG image on my 3D graph? I am using Measuremnt Studio 7.1 with 3D graph to draw an intensity contour plot. Since I draw the contour plot to show measured pysical values of a specific area, I would like to overlay a JPG image of the area on my countour plot.

In waveformgraph, I can insert my jpg image as backgound image. However, I could not find background image option in 3D graph.

Currently, we are converting JPG image into monocromatic 2D numerical data and draw it in 3D graph. Then I make projection onto a axis. Finally, we adjust transpareny option. However, it is not very efficent.

I am not sure but I think I heard that LV 8 intensity plot provide background image option. If I have Measurement Studio 8.0, then can I overlay my image on 3D graph?

If you know any method to overlay an image into a countour plot, please let me know.

Unfortunately there is no way to set the background of a 3d graph as a picture (jpg, bmp, etc).  This option is not available with the LabVIEW intensity plot either.  As you mentioned it is possible with a regular waveform graph, just not for the 3d graph.  If this feature would be useful to you, I would recommend going to our product suggestion center which I listed below.  Many of the new features of LabVIEW and Measurement Studio have come from product suggestions from customers.
