How to distribution softwear developed by vs2005 and ms7.1

vs2005 need .net2.0 and ms7.1 need .net1.1
 
Do I have to install both .net2.0 and 1.1 on customers computer, or only .net2.0
 
Can somebody help me?

The .NET 2.0 runtime supports hosting .NET 1.1 libraries/components. You would not need to distribute the .NET 1.1 runtime with your application.
