Greetings all
We have a patch available for issues that were reported when trying to
use Measurement Studio 8.0 .NET libraries from Visual Studio 2005.
The issues are as follows:
- PropertyEditor control throws a NullReferenceException when dropped in Visual Studio 2005.
- If you add an item to collection editors of UI controls at
design-time and cancel the collection editor dialog, you receive an
error stating that an ObjectDisposedException has been thrown. This
error does not cause the component to behave improperly. The control
can still be used without any problems after the error is generated.
- NumericEdit control does not draw a border in Visual Studio 2005.
- If you have only Visual Studio 2005 installed, Visual Studio 2005
generates warnings when building setup projects consisting of the
NationalInstruments.UI or NationalInstruments.UI.WindowsForms
assemblies.
You must download and install the patch to fix the issues in the
Measurement Studio 8.0 .NET controls to support Visual Studio 2005 and
the .NET Framework 2.0. Refer to the link below for information about
downloading and installing the patch.

You do
not need this patch if you are using Visual Studio 2003
only. This patch is only for the Measurement Studio 8.0 .NET class
libraries.
