Measurements on analog channels should start, when the pulse rate on CTR0 (digital input) is in a defined range, using Measurement studio

I´m uncertain how to use the pins:

I have a pulse signal TTL up to 100kHz

I like to use CTR0 out/source/gate (which one is the external input?) to aquire the pulse rate/sek
For a defined codition Pulse-rate inbetween Rate-low and Rate-high (CTR0 TRUE)
the aquisition on the analog channels should start.
The actual pulse rate shall be aquired as well.

To my understanding the analog aquisition is running in a FIFO and should transfer the measurements when triggered by the counter CTR0 TRUE event.

We don´t get it running using Measurement Studio.

Someone has an idea?

Hello,

you havn't posted, which DAQ-card you have.
You can check in "MAX->My System->devices and interfaces->NI DAQmx/Traditional DAQ->Your Card->Device-connections"
which modules are connected with your outputpins.
I think you have to use PFI8 (Pin 37) to use CTR0 SRC. But this can differ to your card. You can open a "Connector Pinout Table" in your MAX "Pin allocation of device".

Hallo,

unter folgendem Link können sie die Hilfe-Datei für die E-Serienkarte runterladen (haben Sie aber evtl. schon):
http://digital.ni.com/manuals.nsf/websearch/05A25C65C755D8DB86256FD30081687D

Rufen Sie in dieser Hilfe dann "100-Pin Extended AI I/O Connector Pinout" für die Karte 6071E auf.
Dort finden Sie die Belegung für diese Karte.

Auf der NI-Seite können Sie auch nach Beispielen suchen:
http://www.ni.com/devzone/dev_exchange/ex_search.htm
Wählen Sie dort "Measurement Studio" und "Multifunctional DAQ" aus.
