Hi,
I'm trying to use MeasurementStudio for the first time and I've encountered some problems:
I've installed NI-DAQ 8.7.1 and I have installed MeasurementStudio 8.6 but still when trying to load the .NET examples the NationalInstruments.DAQmx.dll is missing. I can't find it under C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2008\DotNET\Assemblies\Current and thus can't reference it.
What did I miss in the installation process?
Thanks,
Michal.

Hi Michal,
Are you trying to load the .NET examples from All Programs>>National Instruments>>NI-DAQ>>Text-Based Code Support or are these examples found from ni.com? If the examples are from the NI-DAQ folder, then it sounds as if a repair of the driver may be necessary. Another option is upgrading to DAQmx 9.2, which upon installing would overwrite the DAQmx 8.7.1 installation. If the example you are loading was found on the website, then I would verify via a DAQmx driver modification from the Control Panel that .NET ADE support was selected. Typically the default installation is for LabVIEW only and additional support must be manually added. See attached image.
Note: Most National Instruments drivers and software is found in Add/Remove Programs inside a large National Instruments Software folder. Going into the folder will provide access to the individual components for repair, modification, and uninstallation and will not uninstall anything by selecting the general folder.
Let me know if you continue having issues.
