Updated version of Measurement Studio and now my controls say they aren't licensed.

The version of NI-DAQ that came with my copy of Measurement Studio 8 is messed up.  The first time I tried to install it it would blue screen the computer.  It is incredibly slow.  I just tried to reinstall MS and update the DAQ drivers and it got stuck for 5 minutes.  I need to go back out there and see if it has started now.  I don't know if this is the problem or not.

There is a knowledgebase article that describes the behavior you are experiencing, but the reason for the behavior in this article is an incorrect installation of Measurement Studio 8.0.  I do not believe this is your case, but maybe following these steps will solve your issue as well.

In particular, this article describes that if you try to modify your installation and add, or remove, some of the Measurement Studio components the license files might be created correctly.  The following is the knowledgebase article:

I completely reinstalled MS and NI-DAQmx on Friday and I still have the same problem even though I have two license files.  I will try to modify the installation here shortly, but this is getting frustrating.  I'm trying to get them to let me use VB over LabVIEW and I'm having problems now that I didn't anticipate.  I'm running out of time.  I think I'm going to have to install my copy of 7.0 if this doesn't work.
