I am evaluating MS2013. I am using VS2015, but after reading another post have installed VS2013, as it is supported.
I have VS2013 and MS2015 working well together. Because of our security, I need to install from a stand alone installer on my c: Drive.
VS2013 now has MS2015 menues.
I have opened project Getting started with file:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\MStudioVS2013\DotNET\Examples\ScopeWithUI\GettingStarted\cs\MainForm.cs
It has missing references.
How do I resolve those missing references? The refer to a directory that has many dlls, just not the ones sought.
I have installed NISCOPE1501 and am now trying to install DCD-Aug15_1.exe. I open the file and it says it is a self extracting file and will run installation after extraction.
I get the directory:
C:\National Instruments Downloads\NI Device Drivers\Aug15\DCD-Aug15-1
But nothing runs. Is this installed?
I still have missing references.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I needed to install all three of the parts. When the third .exe ran, at completion, it launched an installer. I would recomment a single line on the link page stating, "After all three executibles run, the installer will run."
It did not solve the original issue of VS2013 not finding the ModularInstruments.* DLLs. But that became moot when I found there were other examples that met my needs.
For those who need ModularInstruments.*, I suggest a clear description of how to get them installed. The suggestion to install the four installations identified above did not install these DLLs. I still do not know how to do that. I just no longer need them.
