"measurement studio" menu item not appearing in Visual Studio

I am using Visual Studio.Net 2003. When I first installed Measurment Studio 7.0, a menu item, labelled "Measurement Studio" (I think) appeared in the VS menu, and also "Measurement Studio C++ Tools" appeared in the GUI toolbox. I had to re-install Meaasurement Studio, and after the re-installation, there is only the "Measurement Studio C++ Tools" toolbox, ie. the "Measurement Studio" menu item has not been restored.

I would first try repairing the installation.  You should have an option in the reparation to choose what gets installed or not.  It may be that since you once had those files, Measurement Studio thinks you have the .NET controls already installed.  If this does not work, I would uninstall Measurement Studio and reinstall.  This should remove all the original components so the reinstallation would install the Controls and Menu system as normal.

One possibility is that the Measurement Studio Add-in is disabled. In Visual Studio, go to Tools>>Add-in Manager. Is there an entry for Measurement Studio Add-in? Is it checked?

Thanks! Tools->Add-In Manager did the job for me. Too easy!
