Did you mean:

synchronizing M-Series Analog Input

Has anyone successfully synchronized two or more boards?
for continuous AI acquisition ?

in C# or VB ?

Thanks.

Philip,

There is a multi-device, AI synchronization example that should install in the following location:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2003\DotNET\Examples\DAQmx\Synchronization\Multi-Device\AIFiniteAcquisition

Please let us know if you have any problems with this.

Hope this helps,

Philip,

Try the Measurement Studio example located here:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2003\DotNET\Examples\DAQmxWithUI\SynchronizeTwoAIContinuous

Hi,

I have got the same problem. I want to synchronize two M series cards (PCI 6250). I've got the AIFiniteAcquisition example working, but I want to read in continuous samples.

I have changed the setting Timing.ConfigureSampleClock in the SyncTask.cs from SampleQuantityMode.FiniteSamples to SampleQuantityMode.ContinuousSamples. But that doesn't work.

Has anyone solved the problem? What do I have to change?

I have read about an example program SynchronizeTwoAIContinuous but I can't find this on my harddisc. Couls anyone please send me the code or better the whole project file?

Thanks

Thank you serpos,

but that isn't working for me, because I am not using Measurement Studio. I think I need it to run the c#-program. Any other ideas?

cs.zip is the C# example

but the example ships with measurement studio and uses measurement studio classes.

you need to code directly to NIDAQ

and this option has been discussed in this forum

cheers
