Automation Symbols installation fails with error -119

We are trying to upgrade our development system from NT to a new computer running Windows 2000.  The Measurement Studio Starter Kit installs with no errors, but when I try to install the Automation Symbols (version 1.0) the process stops with the error message "An error occurred during the move data process: -119".  Do I need a new version of the Automation Symbols, or does this indicate a different problem?  Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Hi BarbaraG!

The Automation Symbols Toolkit is no longer a supported product.  It may be that it doesn't work on newer operating systems, I'm not sure, it is so old that there is very little documentation.  Are you sure you need it for your project?  This toolkit and it's functionality are now part of the LabVIEW DSC module.  This can be seen/purchased here. You may also be able to find information on error -119 on an internet search on this error, as this is an installer error and could be caused by a wide variety of things. Hope this helps!
