How to set DAQmx Period Task input terminal

I have a counter period measurement Task created in VB6.0 using Measurement Studio 8.6 and NI-DAQmx. Is there a way to configure the input (gate) terminal to be PFI0 instead of the default.

The counter terminals are hardwired to certain pins on your DAQ card.  The gate terminal isn't set to a "default," the counter gate is wired to a certain PFI line - this cannot be changed.  Check the NI-DAQmx Device Terminals Help for information on which PFI line corresponds to which counter terminal.
