Run Time Error: Missing nidaq32.dll

When I run my program it crashes and says that I am missing nidaq32.dll. I have tried reinstalling NIDAQ 7.4 several times while including support for Visual Basic, and restarting the computer several times. LabVIEW and MAX have no problems communicating with the boards, but VB6 (without Measurement Studio) will not. I also tried repairing the drivers. There are no other programs trying to access this file. I have searched for it, and it is in the windows and system32 folders.

What is the problem?

Colin,

Have you tried the shipping examples? Do these work for you, or do they give the same error? Also, it may help to manually add a refence to the driver under Project -> References -> Browse -> nidaq32.dll.

I tried

1. Restarting the computer.
2. Un/Re-installing everything from NI using Add/Remove Programs
3. Un/Re-installing Visual Studio 6

None of this worked. I then used msiblast.exe from NI to remove everything from NI installed on the machine. I then reinstalled the NI stuff and it finally worked again.
