Strange problem after upgrade to Measurement Studio Version 6 (VC++)

My application uses a number of 2D graphs (over 30). After upgrading to
version Measurement Studio 6 from 1.0.1, the program will hang up while
graphing - it takes Visual C++ V6 with it. When I try to exit Windows (98)
I get a message box that states that DDE Server will not shut down -
wait,cancel...
Any ideas what this could be attributed too? The application code is the
same except for the change to the newer version.
The exe built with 1.0.1 runs ok on a system with the version 6 installed.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We will probably need more information than what you have described so far to understand what is happening in your situation.

Did you receive any error messages before your application crashed? Does it crash in release configuration? Is any of your code different than what you had in the previous version of Tools for Visual C++? Did you convert the project to a Measurement Studio for Visual C++ 6.0 project?
