capturing image from tv capture card conneted to 768x582 resolution b/w camera onto vb application container

we are usng mercury tv capture card.
so that the container will show the image if camera is diconnected then the last image should hold in the container(in round shape) so that after holding we should do iamge processing function over it ,can you please send me the solution or some code for the same
