hi. am new to mesStudio. downloaded MS 8.1  and .net framework 2.0 . does it work with VB 6. framework does not want to install. Says: not valid win32 apllication. wot do i need. which version of MS will work with VB6.

Hi kalice,

You need Measurement Studio Professional or higher to receive Visual Studio 6.0 (VB 6.0 and C++) support.  When you actually buy Measurement Studio Pro or higher, you will receive two CDs in the mail. One CD will be the Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005 support and the other will say Visual Studio 6.0 support.  If you were using Visual Studio 6.0, make sure to install the correct CD. 

If you downloaded an evaluation version off the website, make sure you downloaded the correct one. One download will be for Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005 support. The other is for Visual Studio 6.0.
