If you are choosing between VB, VC++, and CVI. VB is the simplest. In general, VB is a simpler language then C or C++ almost always. Our ActiveX controls in VB are very simple to use and, because of the property pages that can be used for setup, will usually reduce development time significantly from developing in C or C++. The ActiveX controls can be used in C++ as well, but it is not as easy as VB since VB is designed around ActiveX. Of course, LabVIEW is also an extremely easy language to do DAQ programming. But out of VB, VC++, and CVI. VB is the simplest.
