Er...you may want to put a big warning sign on or immediately preceding the download page for the Measurement Studio Eval. This is a *nasty* problem, as indicated by the posts above; if you're aware of it, you should make your customers aware of it, too, before they get blindsided. I know that my gut reaction on seeing this problem was "dammit, I'll never try out an NI product again". Glad you found a fix, though.

VS 2005 beta 2 is out now, will there be an upgrade for this or the finnal version or will it MS install OK.
Proberly not as this will be DOT.NET 2.0.

Thanks for the feedback Gregory. This KB documents this problem and the workaround. I'll make sure to add it to the eval site in case people are not aware of this and run into this issue.

Colin - There are some issues with using MStudio 7.1 assemblies with VS 2005 Beta 2. This and this post describes some of the problems that would occur. We currently do not have support for VS 2005 with MStudio 7.1.

Thanks Bilal
I did not really expect it to work with beta versions but hope that an update is available when the finished version is released.
I hope this come as part of my subscription as so far I have not received anything for MS or Labview from my subscriptions.

Thanks
Colin
