RENATOMUSICA,
Can you attach the following items from the comptuer experiencing this issue?

  • Screenshot of NI License Manager showing your Measurement Studio license and status (in the main window)
  • Screenshot of the Measurement Studio > Licenses screen inside Visual Studio

Have you tried selecting Measurement Studio > Refresh Project License File and then selecting Build > Rebuild Solution?

HI JARED,

THIS OPTION....

Have you tried selecting Measurement Studio > Refresh Project License File and then selecting Build > Rebuild Solution?

IS NOT AVAILABLE IN MEASUREMENT STUDIO MENU ON A VC++ PROJECT.. BUT INDEED APPEARS IN A C# PROJECT.

IN ONE OF THE NI SAMPLE PROJECTS C#  I TRIED AS SUGGESTED...

Have you tried selecting Measurement Studio > Refresh Project License File and then selecting Build > Rebuild Solution?

BUT STILL THE SAME TROUBLE.

ATTACHED DETAILS OF THE SCREENSHOTS REQUESTED.

Renato,

I attempted to recreate this issue and I could not. I installed MS 2012 with VS 2010 on XP SP3 Spanish. I did not have to change my language settings. I received no licensing issues.

I believe the issue is related to a stale .licx file attached to your project. To resolve this issue, you will want to delete any *.licx files included in the project, and then remove and re-add any Measurement Studio references. This should remedy the issue and allow you to build the project.

Hi Kred i reinstalled the software.. and got to the point of running the example projects on c# succesfully. I noticed that theres no examples on VC++ as well, only cs and vb. i went through all the suggestions you´ve made ... but still get the unlicensed message for new VC++ projects. The file you told me to erase shows up again every time i open the form where the control(knob for exmple) is place in the main form. if you check on this conversation...

Re: Measurement studio expired first day I install

Hi Mark,

R&D took a look at this problem and I believe they have a workaround for you while they work on the official fix. Try the following steps:

1.  In the Control Panel, go to Regional and Language Options.
2.  In the Regional Options tab, under Standards and Formats, change the format to English, United States.  (Inglese (Stati Uniti) in Italian.)

If you do decide to activate your copy of Measurement Studio, this issue shouldn't be a problem anymore since it is only related to the evaluation version.

Hope this helps!

Hello Renatomusica,

We do not ship examples for VC++, only for CS, VB, and ANSI C.

Did you try to follow Stephanie's steps?

I believe that buying a license will solve the problem. If the fully licensed software would somehow cause a similar issue, we would guarantee troubleshooting it until it was resolved.

ok. I have an idea.. given the fact that you have spanish versions of xp and visual studio.. please build a simple vc++ project with a knob or something alike and send these fiels to me ...i if i can build it succesfully i´ll check it thorughly  to se if theres a setting that could be wrong on my project properties..

best regards

Renato.

Renato,

Thank you for the suggestion. Previously, I had not tried to build and run a project using one of the Measurement Studio controls (knob).

When I attempted to run the Visual C++ project, I ran into the same (or a similar) error you are experiencing:

We are currently in the process of reporting this issue to R&D. This message only occurs with the evaluation (unlicensed) version. Upon activation, this message will no longer display. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we truly value feedback like yours.
