When you get the ViStatus error, what is the actual error code (in hexadecimal) ?

now it is working, even if I haven t change anything. I have rebooted my computer almost ten times, sometimes my programm works good, sometimes not. I really don 't know why. When it doesn t work, the error sent by the function viRead is : bfff0015 in hexadecimal. Don t know what it means.

See the VISA help. It is a TIMEOUT error.  Did you set enough timeout value for lengthy ASCII read?
