Can't work well with the encoder because of following error

I'm working with NI Motion hardware and software but I'm having a hard time making a close loop with a stepper motor and a encoder. We already tune the encoder and the stepper but while using the MAX we doesn't see that the software is detecting the Index from the encoder.

Please some one who can help me...

I'm a bit confused by your request. In the summary you talk about an issue with the following error but in the text body you are talking about problems with finding the Index. Is this related? Can you run normal linear moves without problems (both, in open and in closed loop mode)?

Please provide also the following information:

• Type of NI-Motion board (73xx)
• NI-Motion driver version (7.x)
