Card 7342 Screw Terminal

I am using NI Card 7342 with cable type SHC68 C68 S , but I need to use its PWM signal and analog input,  so i think i have to use an unshielded screw terminal to use these output,

1) with scerw terminal i have to chose ?

2) can i link cw and ccw to the driver without trouble (7342 <-> drivre<->motor)?

The SHC68-C68-S is meant to connect the Motion I/O connector of your 7342 to either a UMI-7772 or to an NI power drive. The PWM outputs are located on the Digital I/O connector and you should use an SH68-C68-S in combination with an unshielded or shielded connector block to access these signals.

Please refer to the user manual of the 7342 for pinouts information.

I hope that helps. For the case that you need more information about how to connect the 7342 to your power drive please provide information about the drive type.

No. The SHC68-C68-S (P/N 186380-02) has VHDCI connectors on both ends. You will need a SH68-C68-S cable with 68 pin VHDCI to 68 pin.05 Series D-Type connectors (P/N 186381-02) to connect to the CB-68LP.

when i browsed the ni website, i have seen many cables with the same number of I/O, exemple 68,

are all 68 I/O cables have the same shape ?, so any unshielded or shielded ( sure with the same number of I/O)connector block can match ??

but now i have SHC68-C68-S (P/N 186380-02), witch unshielded or shielded connector block should i take ?

As I have already said the SHC68-C68-S is meant to be used with a power drive or the UMI-7772. NI doesn't offer a connector block with VHDCI connector. You will need to purchase the SH68-C68-S cable.
