Choosing parameters for Anti-Resonance function

Hi all,

I am trying to control a stepper motor with the NI-9503 driver. I would like to apply the anti-resonance function, but can't find any information about the coefficients (more than in the help view) and how they should be chosen. As the block diagram is password-protected i can't reverse engineer it either.

Does anyone have any tips?

Thank you,

Carl-Philip

Hi Carl-Philip,

For this specific 9503 module the drivers installed should also automatically install NI SoftMotion, do you have this installed?

If you do have a look at the example finder in LabVIEW and search for 9503 it will come up with the example as shown in the attachment (9503.PNG).

This will automatically populate the coefficients that are needed for your specific stepper motor once you have input certain motor information.

Let me know how this goes.

Regards,
