Hello toberts,
Are you using a fan with a Maxon DC motor and a PCI-6229 as well?
This thread was specific to this setup. Can you please let me know iIf you are using different hardware?

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your time to reply on my message.
Below is my only HW available.
1.ordinay dc fan(ex. exhaust fan of PC with two terminals only,(+)and(-)
2.parallel port interface
3.pci-6503
With I would like to seek your help on how to measure the speed of an ordinary DC fan using the above resources.
if I will be using parallel port\pci-6503 what will be the possible connection between the fan and parallel port?
can you give me sample VI program.
Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
toberts

As far as I know, you can't.
Please start a new thread. Your question has nothing to do with the original.
