Deploy Axis attempt, but receive error

I'm trying to deploy an axis within a project to an AKD drive connected to a cRIO 9074. However, I receive the following error:

NI SoftMotion:  Some of the NI SoftMotion Module components are missing, incompatible, or not properly started.  Verify your hardware connections and that the device drivers are running. Otherwise, try reinstalling or repairing the LabVIEW NI SoftMotion Module software through the Windows OS using the "Add or Remove Programs" or "Programs and Features" control panel.

This is the error discussed in this KnowledgeBase article:

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/5391D101AEC43FCA862579BB00704C6D

However I have installed the necessary compatible versions:

PC/Host

NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT 2.5

NI SoftMotion Module Standard 2012

Target

NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT 2.5.0

How do I resolve this? I have tried uninstalling/repairing both the Industrial Communications package and the SoftMotion modules with no luck.

Hi ap8888,

What version of LabVIEW Real-Time and NI-RIO do you have? It might also help if you post a MAX Technical Report.

It's all 2012 software. The software installed on the RT side is shown in the following figure (along with the error)

Hi,

In general, the EtherCAT driver is not backward or forward compatible with SoftMotion. You either need to downgrade to EtherCAT 2.4 or upgrade SoftMotion (and LabVIEW, RT, etc) to 2012SP1 to get your deployment to succeed.

Thanks,
