   Hi,

You have to put DIP switch 8 on 'on' on the cards 1 and 2. (Start and end of the can-> remplace the resistor)

Your 'interfaceName' is 'Usb' for the 2 cards

'protocolStackName' is ' MAXON SERIAL V2 ' for the 2 cards

'portName' is' usb0' for the 2 cards

firstly i've configured node 2 with Epos Studio software because a error USB comunication appeared when it ran.

i still have problems with aplication. Program only detects card2 when firstly I start Maxon Studio configuration and scanning Can Devices. I have to search manually this setup anf them close Studio to open Labview's aplication.

Massif, can you tell me your configuration of this software or how do you connect after power reset or shut off?

Did you change any parameter like object dictionary options?

You sould configure your card with the Maxon Studio

Each time, you used the card (after power rest them) you should first used the EPOS studio soft.

With can communication you don't have theses problems.

A way to find out is to close the EPOS communication. Only in this case you can restart you application.(Closed correctly your application and not abord the application).

If you used the abord button (red on labView), you should start with the Epos Studio.

Hi,

i found the problem. Firstly the two nodes must be configured with Epos Studio and save all parámeters to finish the operation.It's not necesary to start epos software in this case.

To fix error with Passive mode can  baudrate value must be modified to auto with value=9 (system parameters)

I had a error with one of them so i exchanged.

i my application appears "close" block but i don´t know what happens if press abort button as you say.

i'll check it and i'll tell you..

Dear Squal,

I am trying to work with 4 EPOS2 conencted with eachother via CAN and to my host pc by USB. I am using on the bare library from Maxon and trying to use VSC_XXX functionalities to work with the devices. Can you give me some tips on which functionalities to use for a gatewat communication between USB and CAN? 

FYI ... When I connect the USB to any of the EPOS2 units and use VSC_Enable(/dev/USB0) .. it will enable the same unit not the EPOS2 connected directly to the host which led me to believe I can access the EPOS2 units via the usb functionality. What do u think?
