MAX 4.0 does not initilaze valuemotion controller (Servo 4A)

My PC workes under Windows XP.

I have a valuemotion controller Servo 4A and DAQboard 6313.

When I install NI motion driver for the valuemotion controller, I have no problem with MAX 2.2.
But when I install the DAQmx800 with MAX 4.0, I can't change motion controller settings and can't initilaze this device.

What you can advice to solve this problem?

Waiting your answer,

BR,
Sergey Drozhzhinov.

Hello Sergey,

Thank you for using our discussion forums.  I am not sure if you are aware, but our most current ValueMotion driver was released before Windows XP, so this OS is not officially supported.  Since ValueMotion is a fairly old system, the current version of MAX you have might not be compatible with the motion driver.  In fact, we are moving away from the ValueMotion boards and driver. If you are interested in a better long-term solution, you could always upgrade to a newer board and FlexMotion since ValueMotion is being phased out. If you are wanting to keep your current setup, you might need to revert to an older version of MAX that works with both your ValueMotion controller and your DAQ board.  I hope this information helps.
