Motor Movement

HI

to know the history of my project go through this link   http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=240&thread.id=8384&view=by_date_ascending&page=1

the problem was solved and the motor was moving perfectly according to my application.

know the problem is when i connected the disc that i have to move through this motor, the motor is giving jerks and producing very small steps not what i have programmed it to.

even when i tried without the disc it is having the same problem, but the code or Labveiw is not showing any error.

when i tried MAX 1D interactive it is giving full revolution for 200 steps (motors resolution), but not through VI.

i tried setting up MAX agian and even with other codes but still doesnt works.

HELP ME

Hi Akshay,

From what you said, I did not understand what triggered the problem. Did you start noticing the jerks after connecting the disc? Did your LabVIEW VI work as expected before that? If not, have you tried one of our LabVIEW examples to check if you can move one revolution successfully? If you are configuring the motion axis in LabVIEW, make sure it correlates with the settings that you have in MAX.

Hi

This problem occurred only when I first connected the disc.

A setting that I found todayThe motor was giving jerks without the disc, the steps per revolution where set to 2000 somehow,

I found it out coz even with the jerks the MAX 1D interactive was showing correct steps according to the code, so I set it back to 200 and the motor starting running as programmed.

Thanks

Now the situation is when I configure MAX setup and through 1D interactive I get 1 full revolution, with and without the disc

AND through code when I run the code without the disc the motor moves perfectly as programmed, and when I run with the disc on it is giving jerks.

MAX settings for steps per revolution is now set to 200 and even with the jerks with the disc MAX is showing correct steps but wrong rotation.
