Out of curiosity, how did you fix your problem? I have the same problem while communicating to the NI-UMI 7764.

You don't mention what motor you are using - is it 3rd party?

I ask because after reviewing a few spec sheets, it appears the drive is rated for motors with an inductance ranging for 2 to 15 mH. Reviewing some other documentation, using motors outside of this range has been known to cause this error.

Let me know if this is applicable to your situation.

FYI, the spec sheet is located here if you need to reference anything else: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/P70530manual.pdf

Hello! This is not applicable to my situation. I solved the problem. It was logic-problems with controler.

The motor is a Danaher motor--CTP10ELF10 (if that means anything to you). When we turn on the machine, we can't even hear the holding torque, which tells me that perhaps there is an actual communication problem with the stepper.

The inductance is within range, and it was working before.

Thanks for your reply!

Sorry for stupid question))). "Enable" (J4-5, J4-6) is correct connect (opto pair)?
