PCI-7344 can't work when interpolating a big circle

Hello All,

I using PCI 7344 card, i can move two axis X,Y for linear and small Circle but when the circle is very large, it can't work.

Encoder    : 2000p/rev

Example: it can't interpolate circle:

Radius: 100000 rev

Velocity: 300rev/m

travel Angle: 80 degree

How can PCI-7344 interpolate with big circle or big arc?

Can i help me? Thanks

Hello,

for arc moves the parameters are limited to certain ranges due to the math behind the onboard calculations. This is documented in the NI-Motion help and you can find some more information in this knowledge base article.

If you need to exceed these limitations for your application, you should consider using contouring mode, which allows customized trajectories.

Kind regards,
