Power meter PM100D and servo motor driver TDC001 - How to compare two values

Hi guys, 

I'm an Italian student of materials science and I'm doing my final thesis: this is my first time with LabVIEW and I'm quite confused
I've to take the measurements for a photoluminescence experiment and I need to control the power that arrives on the sample: my aim is to compare the value of the power meter with another one that I can choose on the PC and if these two are different the filter wheel has to move until they are equal.
I read the APT's guide to LabVIEW and many other examples on the web but I don't know which APT motor method is the correct one for my scope, I've tried with MoveRelative but I don't know how to finish this simple project

Hi Botolo,

your question is very generic an it is hard to give you suggestion.

More details are needed, First af all abou the motor you would like to move form LabVIEW.

Which kind of motor is that, which interface, and how is controlled ? Is there a specific driver?
