I don't know what Flush IO Buffer Mask is about. My guess is that it is a constant that I am connecting to one of the earliest VISA vi's. I set these things up, both here and in general, by right clicking on a terminal and selecting Create Constant. Then I select the state of the constant if it is an enum. You should see six of these at the left end of the VISA items. I have attached a screen shot of my block diagram (I forget how to load an image inline into my posting here). My guess is further that if you Ignore Item while opening my vi, and then find where it is missing something, and you Create Constant and select its state to look like my screen shot, you will have fixed this problem.
I don't think I have any controls or anything else I designed that is called by this vi. I can right click on the link in my web browser and Open it without any error - it doesn't say it is searching for an item.If the advice above does not work, maybe we both need help. But see what this gets you for now.
