So, I should be able to use PXI 7344 4-axis motion controller with UMI 7774 and SHC68-C68-S cable to Sigma II servo drive.

I am using Yaskawa Servo motor.

Hi Bipin,

You will need a few extra connectors to access the UMI's pins, but yes you will be able to connect to the servo drive without any problems at all.  As long as your servo motor is matched to your drive you will be fine in that.

Hi everyone,

I have almost the same problem.

I want to control a servo motor using LabVIEW. I have Sigma II SGMGH servo motor and I want to communicate using serial port.

I have been documentation about the protocol and I found how to do it, but it doesn’t work. I cannot get any response in LabVIEW.
