can't open the measurement & automation eplorer, MAX 3.0.2

I can not open my Measurement & Automation explorer.  I had been using my MID-7604 Stepper Motor Drive with a PCI 7340 card numerous times.  I use LabView and the FlexMotion software to run.  I always needed to open the MAX to initialize the card and be able to use the Stepper motor.  Now when I try to open the explorer I get a
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error that says:

Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Max\NIMax.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

The explorer is version 3.0.2.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling from NiDaq cds or the Flexmotion cd but I'm not sure what the problem is.  The only other information that I am aware of is that it worked fine and recently a tech was in to install new software and had to remove LabView.  When it asked if he wanted to uninstall LabView and all other NI software he corrected himself and chose to cancel the uninstall.  I figured everthing should be fine, but perhaps not.

Thank you

John

John,

What version of LabVIEW are you using?  If it is a newer version of LabVIEW, then you may be able to upgrade your version of the Motion driver.  This would be a simple fix because it would upgrade the version of Measurement and Automation Explorer and clear out this error.

All of our drivers are available for download at the link below:
