I am using L293B to drive the DC micromotor series 1724T006SR. The encoder signal obtain from the motor is distorted. I have tried to use a 555 timer debouncing circuit to clean the encoder signal but the encoder signal only look cleaner after the motor has run continuously for around 10 mins. Please advice me. Thank you.attached : specification of the dc motor I am using.PL

About all I can suggest is to fix your decoder circuit to eliminate the spikes, based on the limited information you have provided.
Did you attempt the suggestions I first posted? Also is your decoder circuit running off the same power supply as your motor? I suggest you run the motor on it's own isolated supply, and all your other electronics from another.
