the "Start Motion.flx" vi provides the "Axis/VS Map" input, that allows you to start multiple axes simultaneously. To do this, you have to select "Axis Control" for the "Axis or Vector Space" input and select the axes that you want to start simultaneously in the "Axis/VS Map".
Please refer to the help for "Start Motion.flx" for more information.
Of course you will have to add the configuration function calls for your second axis to the attached example, before executing "Start Motion.flx".
If you need an even better of synchronizing the axes, you should configure both axes to be part of a vector space. Please refer to the shipping examples (e. g. "Two-Axis Vector Move with Position Monitor.vi) to learn more about vector spaces.
In general the examples are the best way to learn most about the NI-Motion vis and you should use them extensively.
