fw-7344 corrupt firmware? &updates don't work

hi,  hopefully someone out there can help me with this one. The fw-7344 we are using in our motion system ceased working after several months of exemplary performance; in MAX the lights next to power up reset, hardware failure, and modal error  were all engaged on the device's status tab. Power cycling the controller (no easy task due to the nature of our setup) got rid of the power up reset but now trying to initialize the controller, in MAX or otherwise, gives a NIMC_corrupt68331FirmwareError. Trying to update the firmware does not help. Please any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

here is a screenshot of the situation

Is your hardware under warranty? Contact NI support for help. They have a good customer support. If u have a local NI office in your city then they may send an engineer to check your system or otherwise you can get guidance over the phone from your nearest NI branch. Use the "call me" option in the support page to receive a call from NI for a discussion over this issue. Best of luck.

Giridhar,

sorry that I have to add a comment again. The "call me" option is not a good way to get support. When you use "call me" you will receive a call from an NI sales representative and that's not what you you want in this case.
Instead for direct support please use the "Phone NI" or "E-Mail NI" option. In case of an RMA (repair) "Phone NI" would be the best option.
