You'll need to refer to the documentation for the L293D driver to determine which lines it need attached. For servo motors you typically atach the Analog Out line as well as the Encoder feed back lines from the UMI. For steppers, you need to at least wire the step and direction lines to your drive. I recommend taking a look at the
7764 user manual as well for help with wiring.
