i want to use a current card (PCI, around 200mA) to drive a servo valve

Hi,

I want to use a current card (PCI) to drive a servo valve in the hydraulic actuator. The current requirement is around 200mA.
   What choice do I have?

Hi Charlie,

I don't know of any NI products that will source that much current.  You will probably need a servo drive with an external power supply to do this.  You can use this in conjunction with any of our motion controllers, i.e. 7330-, 7340-, and 7350-series boards.

The servo drive acts as an amplifier for the signal generated by the motion controller.
