Hi all,

I want to controlle a steppermotor who is connected to a PXI motion controller 1033, with controller 7330 and UMI-7764.

It is an orientalmotor PK268-03AR22, 2-phase, 1.8* with driver CSD2120-T.

First I want to check how I can controlle the motor in an open-loop and later on (when that is working) in a closed loop. 

I'm trying to controlle the motor with NI-MAX.

I put the configuration as stands in the help and on this site for controlling an steppermotor.

When I push the KILL button there is a change in voltage at the inhibit out pin.

But when I push start or something else nothing is happening.

Natasja,

one of the most common reasons for this type of behavior is wrong wiring of the open collector outputs of the 7330 to an optocoupler input of a drive. Please read this article for more information.

If this doesn't solve the problem, please doubel check the wiring and the configuration of the drive.
