The PCI - 7344 sends a -10V to +10V signal from the analog out when configured and pulses when configured as stepper. All other signals coming out of the controller, such as inhibit and Digital I/Os are 5V signals. If you are using the UMI series termination board then you will get a converted 24V logic output in case of UMI 7774 and unconverted 5V logic in case of UMI 7764. Do let me know if any more details are required. I'll be glad to help u out.

Yogesh,
when u configure the PCI - 7344 as stepper, you can use the analog out as a DAC, as the primary output will be step and direction. So your analog output is independent and can be used for any other purpose. Also the feedback can be mapped from any axis as encoder or ADC inputs as desired. This kind of a setup is essential while implementing complex machines involving spindle as well as sub spindle (live tools), with certain axis as closed loop and others as openloop etc.

Dear Rajan,
I am using UMI-7774 with Viso '5V'. When I generation position straight line move from NI-7344 motion controller, the output pulse I get is +-10V rather than +-5V. According to the datasheet of UMI-7774 " When the drive enable output and digital output signals are in an ON state, they provide the power connected on Viso and Ciso."
Kindly guide in this regard.
