Dear all,
We have two third party devices which have 64 channels of analog output. They both have a 100 pin output terminal which is compatible with D type 0.050 series NI connector. And we are thinking of buying NI-6225 (with 80 analog inputs) daq device for data acquisition which has two 68-pin input terminals. I believe I can use SH1006868 cable to connect my device with NI-6225. My questions are mostly related to the two 68-pin ends of SH1006868.,
1. How exactly the 64 channels of information will be grouped into two 68 pin cables?
2. If I connect one 68-pin end with connector-1 of NI-6225, and let the other 68-pin end freely hung, how many and which of the 64 channels, will be acquired?
3. If I have two SH1006868 cables, can I use both of them, to collect some channels from one device and some channels from other device?
I hope my questions make sense. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Rishe.

The pinouts of the 6225 are given in the specs.
The cable you are thinking of using will only work if the pins of these third-party boards are an exact match for a 100 pin E-Series device from NI.
