Hi Lou,
Your setup sounds good and I'm not seeing anything obvious that would cause problems in your VI. You can try changing the timeout in by editing the registry key. The key in the KB Shalimar referred to is for the 9163 and doesn't work for the 9188. The key that you need to add/edit is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nicsrk\Parameters\ConnectionTimeout
That registry key will effect the timeout of the 918x/9191 devices.

Hi guys,
Just thought I'd post an update. The problem appears to have been fixed, though not exactly with a conventional method.
I changed the Execution options in VI properties. I don't really know why this would be affecting it, but the problem seems to have gone away since changing them.
I had originally put the Priority onto 'Above normal priority' and changed the Preferred Execution System to 'data acquisition' and turned off 'Enable automatic error handling' as my program was running incredibly slow and I was trying to speed it up.
Changing the settings back to 'normal priority', 'same as caller' and turning automatic error handling back on seems to have gotten rid of the error problem - although now my program runs at a snails pace again!
Just thought I'd put it out there incase anyone else has had a similar problem.
Regards,
Lou
