6220 DAQ card not in "Traditional DAQ device"group in MAX3.1

After install the card and MAX3.1(all necessary components are installed,I believe),this device only is found in "DAQmx" group,but there is no "Traditional DAQ device"group,is the card only support DAQmx?
My development tool is VB6.0. Do I have to change my dev tool to VB.net?

The 6220 device is only supported by DAQmx. You can get DAQmx to work with VB6 -- there are a few other threads on this board discussing how to make it work.
