64-bits NIDAQmx.lib

Dear forum-members,

We are porting all our code to 64-bits.

I installed NI-DAQ 8.7.1 3f on a 64-bits Vista PC and tried to created a native 64-bits NI-DAQ C++ application.

However, I failed to locate the 64-bits library NIDAQmx.lib.

In addition a 64-bits version of the runtime library NiCAIU.dll is not installed.

How can I install 64-bits C++ NI-DAQ support ?

Hi Kees,

While Vista 64 bit is supported in DAQmx, the user mode libraries required to make a 64 bit application are not yet included.  I apologize for the lack of documentation on the subject. This was recently pointed out by another forum user, please refer to this thread for more details - Is NI-DAQmx supported as true 64-bit mode in Vista x64?
