9236 channel designations

Hello  Id like to know what the channel name "RC" stands for in reference to the ground side of a channel on the 9236 card? see attached

The Getting Started Guide mentions in page 10 that the RC terminal Provides the quarter-bridge completion, which is also implied in the screenshot you included, so I would assume it sands for Resistor Completion or something along those lines.
