9237

ON PAGE 21 OF THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL IT IS STATED THAT THE 9237 HAS INTERNAL COMPLETION FOR BOTH HALF AND FULL BRIDGES. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IN RELATION TO FULL BRIDGES THAT ARE ALREADY COMPLETE BRIDGES?

Hi Rodent,

From my understanding, you want clarification on providing the NI 9237 with full bridge completion.  You are correct, the 9237 does provide completion for half and full bridges.  The "full" or "half" name comes from the amount of completion you are providing.  In Half bridge configuration, you are providing half, then the module will provide half bridge completion.  In Full bridge configuration, you are providing full bridge completion and the module is set up to handle this.

Here is another helpful resource in understanding strain gauges measurements.

I hope this was helpful Smiley Happy
