AO Parameter VI proper usage and the Enable Output Parameter.

I am attempting to use the Enable Output setting with the AO Parameter VI located in the traditional NI daq vis.  I am using a 4451 card and can not seem to get this to work properly.  I can perform a config->ao parameter->clear and the parameter appears to be set so I can disable output  from the daq.  But If I perform any other AO functions the state of the output relay seems to reset back to the enabled state.  For example performing an AO Start or AO Write command seems to change the state of the output relay without performing any AO parameter setting changes.

Welcome to the discussion forums, nkeddem!

I’m not sure why you are getting this behavior. I’d be willing to take a look at your code if you can post it here. What we ask for you to do in that case is strip it down to the smallest amount of code possible that still reproduces the behavior. This helps keep the code manageable enough for me to get up to speed quickly. Also, please tell me what version of LabVIEW and other drivers (Traditional DAQ, NI-DMM, etc.) you’re using. Please also tell me what OS you are using, so I can duplicate your issue as closely as possible.

Let me what else I can do to help.
