AT MIO 16XE-50

I am trying to install an AT MIO 16XE-50 DAQ card in windows 2000 system but cannot set any resources (Base Address, DMA, IRQ) because they are not listed.  Have installed the drivers via Manual entry in "Add/Remove Hardware" and can see the device in both the Device Manager and in MAX.  I can set the mode to RSE etc. but cannot set Base Address, DMA & IRQ because they are not listed and there is no "Modify" button.

Hi Stan,

What drivers are you using and what version are they?

I am running LabBVIEW v6.0.2 under Windows 2000, with the DAQ drivers shipped with it (MAX v2.0.3.6, NI-DAQ v6.8.0f9).  These work perfectly well with this card under Win XP and Win NT.  The drivers also work O.K. under Win2000 with PCI cards.

To cut a long story short I need to use the MIO hardware on the Win2000 PC.  I can update the DAQ drivers if necessary.

Hi Stan,

The latest version of the DAQ drivers that support LabView 6.0.2 is Traditional NI-DAQ driver 7.1, which is available from the following link:

Try installing those drivers and see if the device works correctly.

Kind Regards,

Jas.W
