Acquiring Camera and Signal Data simultaneously

Hi,

I've a problem with acquiring camera and signal data simultaneously.

My system:
- 2 IEEE 1394 Cameras
- 1 PCI 6220 Board
- Windows XP with LabVIEW 8.5, Vision Acquisition 8.5

The cameras and the DAQ board is running correctly under MAX.

I want to display the camera pictures and the signal (12 channels used) simultaneously. No triggering is needed. Unfortunately when I do it like it is shown on the attachment the signal acquisition becomes slow and the acquired data doesn't display correctly (it seems that there is a lag of around 10-20 seconds). When I acquire signals or camera images alone everything works well.

Hi!

I would try to put both AI and Image reading in two different while loops and in every loop I would put a timing (f.e. 100ms)
So it will be processed on parallel and no task has to wait for the other before working again.
