Altering default API of NI USB-6218

Is it possible to alter the default API (NI-DAQmx Base 14.0) for NI USB-6218 on Linux?

I do not think I fully understand the question. Could you be more specific about what API you are trying to change? Are you trying to alter a block diagram for a DAQmx VI? What OS and what version of LabVIEW are you using?

That is the question actually. I want to use Linux OS but I don't want to use LabVIEW to get the data. So is it possible to make my own application in Linux to get required data?

The api you use is DAQmx Base. You can use that without using LabVIEW.
